The Amarillo Racing Pigeon Club was chartered in 1961 as an AU affiliate based in Amarillo, TX.  We currently have 14 members ranging throughout the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles and eastern New Mexico.  The purpose of our club is to engage in the friendly competition of racing registered homing pigeons, to promote the hobby of breeding and racing homing pigeons, and to foster a positive social environment for members and their families.  Current officers are Dave Link-President, Adrian Jackson-Vice President, John Somerville-Treasuer and Race Secretary, and Lotte Hernandez-Secretary.  Members have donated some birds to raise money for the club to help subsidize flying fees.
