Sonny McGowan lives in NE PA, northwest of Scranton and near the NY State border – a tough, tough area to race in.
Sonny lives far from the nearest club and combine members, yet dominates his competition. One of my favorite stories: A national leader / breeder / competitor visited Sonny once after being beaten soundly - and left muttering to himself, “How in the heck could you beat me so badly with such simple methods in such a tough loft location?!”
Sonny has more proven pairs sitting “On Hold” than most of us have in our breeding lofts.
