7138-TRUNNELL-IF-2017 BCC has a ‘wrenching beak pull’!  I believe that is SUCH a great indicator of will, determination, and vitality.  His sire, Jumpin’ Jack is a SUPER Breeder – for me, and for John Marles before me.  Jumpin’ Jack is a NEPHEW of Gaby’s Bliksem – not just any nephew.  7138’s dam is one of my absolute best breeders, Emerald 164, dam of an Only Day Bird her first season; and #4 Ch YB, all Boston in 2016, with many, many other top performances.  7138 not only has a big forearm muscle, but also great feather, buoyancy; and he took and kept a top perch from OC’s with ease!  At banding I noted he had a very short leg, good struggle, and was SO well-fed by his pumper parents.  My notes at placing him on the floor at 16 Days say:  “Great feather, good muscle, D**n!, sharp!  and then a 1/2 hour later – flapping wings.
