In 2002 I had the pleasure to visit with Luis Janssen and purchased 3 youngsters. I was fortunate to purchase two gorgeous Blue check cocks “Witoge 71” and “Schone Lichten” and a beautiful Red Check Hen from "The Vos", “Schoon Voske”

In May of 2012, the last 26 Janssen pigeons were auctioned. The average price was $24,000 each. The brother to my red check hen Louie called "Late Vos Van 2004" as well as his son "Schone Vos".

There have been many winners bred from these 3 prize birds including a daughter who bred the Gulf Coast Classic Winner and $20,000, 1st Mercedes Classic, 1st Shasta Classic and many club winners. There are no better pigeons anywhere. There are no more direct Janssens.

One pair is inbred “Witoger 71” x “Schoon Voske”, another is inbred “Schone Lichten” x “Schoon Voske” and the third pair has both “Witoger 71”,“Schone Lichten” x “Schoon Voske. This will allow you the best of all 3 of the original Janssens purchased from Luis Janssen.
