The sire was bred for stock out of a son of Tim Brandon's outlaw pair JESSE JAMES x BELLE STAR responsible for generations of OLR Prize winners mated to a Robert Qualls hen down from direct original Houbens. The dam of 337 is BLACK DAHLIA who bred 1st 224 miles and 2nd 400 miles 1st year breeding and who's daughter bred 2nd 400 miles this year as a young bird. This family of Houbens is very popular in Southern California as Tim had so much success with them.
