AU2023 ER 832 Dark Check Splash Hen?
Morris Gordon Long Distance Family
'ER 832' is a beautiful nice handling Morris Gordon family (long distance) bred by Butch Smith Lofts. We lean that this is a hen but be aware it could be a cock. Pedigree says cock but of the 3 of us in the club that have gone through Steve's birds......two of the three thought this was a hen.
'ER 832' was purchased by Steve in Januuary 1st 2024 to add some Long Distance blood to his family. As a result of it being added to the breeding loft in January 2024 and Steve only bred a small number of birds at the beginning of 2024 and this pigeon has not been bred from yet. It originally sold for $610 on Ipigeon one year ago.
Both parents are excellent long distance flyers with the Mother being a 1st Place Winner at 616 Miles and also a diploma winner from 500 Miles plus clocked well on other long races. I looked up her record in National Database. See pedigree for family information
'ER 832' is medium-small to smaller in size with soft silky feather, tremendous wing vibration (motors!!!), good muscle, nice wings, bouyant, and just a slightly weak back. She is for sale as part of the late Steve Sterchi (Sierra Ranch's) Estate Sale for some of his top breeders. My friend Steve passed away last fall and I (Matt Hans) am listing some of the top birds here on Ipigeon for his wife Kim. Proceeds from auction go to Steve's wife Kim.
