This is a beautiful recessive opal cock who is the last son of my best breeding recessive opal cock, Kastle 1611. Check the pedigree and you can see how close he is to my original Mark Evans Gaby's, the source of my recessive opals. And if you look at the pedigrees of any of my other recessive opals, you'll see 1611 in all of them for many many generations. In fact, he is also on the bottom side of this pedigree but so far back he's not visible.
The dam of 2455 is a performance hen who was my first bird back from a 500 mile race when she was a yearling.
Kastle 2455's parents both carry LDHA and DRD4 (954) so it is very likely he will also but I did not test him.
He is very tame and likes to eat while on my shoulder.
